Portugal
The weather and scenery in Portugal is fantastic as are the prices! Portugal is the closest European country to the US. While port has always been the country’s most famous export, the wines of Portugal are moving up the ranks on wine lists. For these reasons and many more, Portugal is a trendy destination! The cities of Lisbon and Porto are historic, lively, and friendly. The beaches of the Algarve are beautiful with dramatic cliffs and golden sand. There are plenty of “off the beaten path” opportunities for travelers. Portugal is a gem–still somewhat undiscovered, but probably not for long!
